David Eckstein appears to be a candidate for the Colorado Rockies’ second-base opening. The interest on the part of Eckstein, confirmed by sources with knowledge of the discussions, came to light Thursday at the end of the winter meetings in Nashville. This seems like it would be a pretty good move for the rockies if the price was right. What do you guys think? Posted in Uncategorized | Comments Off

| Rockies focused on bullpen help | |
Vizcaino, 33, rejected the Yankees’ offer for salary arbitration and is looking for a multiyear contract. That could make signing him problematic for the Rockies. Vizcaino went 8-2 with a 4.30 ERA with the Yankees last season. The Rockies have made minor-league offers to several free-agent pitchers, including left-hander Mark Redman and right-hander Victor Zambrano.
Hopefully we get this all settle pretty soon. None of the options seem to be that satisfying though. Is anybody else a little worrie about the bullpen? Posted in Uncategorized | Comments Off
